Celebrating Diversity and Raising Awareness
The council celebrated International Women’s Day on 10th March organising a chocolate treat for all. Photos of inspirational women were put up all around the school along with balloons and posters to celebrate.

In May we organised Culture Day. It was a wonderful day of learning, sharing, respecting, understanding, acknowledging and celebrating the cultural diversity in our school community. Over 13 countries were represented throughout the day and we had the flag of each country of the world on display in the concert hall for the countries that weren’t represented. Students shared traditional foods, dances, clothing, jewellery, games and traditions. Some of these students wore their chosen cultural attire for the day.
